LATEST UPDATE FROM MARK WHEATLEY AND MICK BROWN 
                  (ORGANISERS OF THE BRIAN CONNOLLY MEMORIAL SHOW).
                                  AUGUST 23rd 1998.

  Despite rumours currently circulating to the contrary, the show at Camden is still 
  defiantly scheduled to take place.
  
  As recently as last night (Aug 22nd) Andy Scott has re-affirmed both his appearance 
  at and support for the show and we are very grateful for Andy’s promise of  
  “something special” to be raffled at the show with all proceeds going directly towards 
  Brian’s plaque.
  
  There are currently four acts confirmed for the show, but we would like to take this 
  opportunity to remind people planning to attend that it is still very unlikely that either 
  Steve Priest or Mick Tucker will be in attendance. We are working on fitting in as 
  many special guests as time slots and artists individual schedules will allow.
  Unfortunately due to other commitments, Ian Moore has had to step down from his 
  role in organising the show.

  Finally we would ask that anybody planning to attend the show should book before  
  20th September, this then allows us time to make our arrangements to cater for the 
  numbers planning to attend.
