Brian Connolly Tribute Message...

                                          CAMDEN PALACE UPDATE

The Show has now been moved to a new date Sunday 8th November 1998.
This is as a result of Andy Scott extending his European tour. Andy has asked us to
rearrange the date as he is keen to play at the show, he has also promised “something
special” to be raffled at the show with all proceeds going directly towards Brian’s
		plaque.

There are currently five acts confirmed for the show

			Andy Scott’s Sweet
Frank Torpey (original guitarist with The Sweet)
			Paddy Goes To Holyhead
Cry Wolf (featuring Dave Farmer on Drums and Gary Farmer on Bass both formally with
Brian Connolly’s New Sweet circa 1984 - 1992 and Tom Farmer on Vocals from
Blackfoot Sue, the line up is completed by Pars Evrenos on Guitar)
The Hellraizers (an all new Sweet tribute band who will be playing a special set of
			      Sweet album tracks and B-Sides)

But we would like to take this opportunity to remind people planning to attend that it
is still very unlikely that either Steve Priest or Mick Tucker will be in attendance.
We are working on fitting in as many special guests as time slots and artists individual
		schedules will allow.

Unfortunately due to other commitments, Ian Moore has had to step down from his role in
		organising the show.

Finally we would ask that anybody planning to attend the show should book before 20th
October, this then allows us time to make our arrangements to cater for the numbers
		planning to attend.

[Note: Please let the organisers know of numbers by booking tickets ASAP - it will help them enormously - Stewart]
