A small town about 30 kms south-east of Liège (the place where the Sweet
was banned from Belgium, 25 years ago). Andy just said after the first song
: 'Let's forget the past. It's 25 years ago'.
The Venue : Spirit Of 66
A very small café with a stage. It must have felt for the boys as if they
were playing in their living room. Despite the fact that it was a small
venue the atmosphere wasn't to great. When Steve played guitar the stage
was so full they must have felt like sardines in a can.
The Concert :
No real suprises. They opened with Hellraiser, Burn On The Flame and then
Sweet F.A. We got great version of The Sixteens and Love Is Like Oxygen.
One real surprise with the first encore song : Am I Ever Gonna See Your
Face Again. The boys gave us a great time although I have some ...
Remarks :
The concert could have lasted a little longer. 80 minutes is one of the
shortest concerts I've been to the last years. No obscure album songs were
played (Set Me Free, Lady Starlight, so many to choose from).
Hoping to see them back real soon, but preferably at an other venue.
