Sweetlife - Your Track review....

Leap Of Faith:
  • Jimmy Lofgren - Also a sort of power ballad, but it's very carefully and thoroughly composed, with many layers/levels of instrumentation. Beautiful piano too. I like Springsteen, he's also got a song called Leap of Faith, and he would be proud to have written this as well, there's a piece of "rootsieness" as well as classical in it. A nice blend. The production is very ELO/Beatles. 9/10
  • John (VC10) - I don't think I can find words to describe this one. You could smash this track into a million pieces and each one would have "CLASS" written all over it. Superior lyric. Best choice for a single if that was ever an option. I hope UK radio picks up on it as it deserves to sit next to Sting, Elton, George Michael etc on top quality adult rock playlists. Reminds me of Don't Go (Hothouse Flowers) for some reason.Thank you SO much Andy 5/5
  • Stef (myadrenaline) - acoustic guitar, piano. Andy's singing is so beautiful, electric guitar duet... instrumental play, the way it goes on and on, like there's all the time in the world...
  • Kitty - It's so wonderful. It gives you a lump in the throat. The piano makes you dream away as if time doesn't count anymore, the classical guitar invites you to listen to what's coming next. The ensemble playing between the instruments is of a high quality. Andy's voice sounds beautiful and warm to the lyrics, that say: 'Don't be sad because the good times of the past are gone, you can make it valuable to go on with your life now without having fear. Take the past with you, you can look back, but move one' The drums give just that bit of power it needs, just enough. It's a song of a kind that lasts forever.
  • Vincent Hughes - I have played this track a thousand times already, and it brings a lump to my throat every time. This is just perfection. Brilliant lyrics so full of depth and feeling. Brilliant musicianship and vocals. This one just deserves to be heard.
  • Steve Goldspink (Golden Arm) - Fantastic. Took a while to grow on me, but probably the joint star of the CD. Guitar, piano, lyrics, drums, blended in a strong, classic, ballad. I'll have my piano playing daughter working on those laid back, jamming, rolling lines. Oh, please, let this reach the wide audience who would surely appreciate it if given the chance. 10/10.
