September 22nd          Doyalson RSL Club

Stop the world i want to get off. Really feeling the effects of the hectic partying we've been doing! Drive to the gig takes 2.5 hours. Guess who's here? It's Paul Mario Day; he lives nearby. Lots of hugging. Couldn't persuade him to get up and sing though.Played a good show and the crowd were great; especially for a Wednesday. Took 2 hours to get back to Coogee and straight to sleep!

September 23rd          Richmond Club

Feeling the pain. Took two hours to get to the gig. Had a sleep in the dressing room. Played a good show. About a dozen people have driven up from Melbourne to come to the last Sydney shows. Good gig and met some fans who had just come from Perth and only caught the last 5 minutes of the gig! We put them and the Melbourne mob on the guest list for tomorrow's show. Long drive back from the gig and everyone's tired. Steve and The Captain sneak out for a swift one at the Coogee Bay.

September 24th          Canterbury

One of the biggest and loudest crowds of the tour. Troubles at soundcheck with the monitors but Damian manages to get them working as we like. We play for over an hour and a half and it was great. The only thing is that the venue is laid out with long tables and chairs so there's nowhere for people to booty shake. The signing session took longer than the time we were onstage but everybody patiently waits their turn and the band happily oblige.

September 25th          Shellharbour

Leaving Coogee today to travel the 2 hours south to Shellharbour. Had bad nights sleep as the hotel has been invaded by footy fans (It's the big final here today between Brisbane and Port Adelaide). These guys were partying like animals and making plenty of noise. If i wasn't so knacked i probably would've joined in! Anyway arrived at the lovely Novotel at 2:00pm. Watched the match and Port Adelaide (underdogs) won!! At soundcheck now and going through what is now the Legendary Drum Check. We're all giving Bruce a hard time about how much time he takes! Last show tonight and the ticket sales are really good. The Melbourne Maniacs are all coming down so i've comped them again; after all they are now nearly 1200 kms from home! Everyone's looking forward to the end of tour bash back at the hotel. We have afternoon flights to Bangkok where we will be staying at the lovely Shangri-La for some R+R and a bit of shopping. Arrive back in the UK bright and early Wednesdday morning. Australia really is an amazing place it's just a shame that we haven't had a bit more free time; i haven't even seen a bloody kangaroo! The fans have been the most genuine and supportive. Thank you from all of us and to all the new friends we've made here; we look forward to seeing you real soon.
